Responsibilities

The Worker will design and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases specifically tailored to the four NASWA SIDES exchanges. This role involves performing manual API and connector testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI to validate request and response payloads, ensuring seamless communication between client's internal systems and the NASWA central broker. Furthermore, the Worker will conduct end-to-end integration testing to verify that data flows successfully to external employers and third-party administrators, while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of XML and JSON data packets against strict NASWA technical specifications and client's database requirements.

In addition to technical validation, the Worker will manually verify the transition from paper-based to electronic processes, ensuring that automated triggers and UI workflows are accurately triggered and completed within the new system. This includes identifying and documenting defects using client tracking tools, performing manual SQL queries to verify database updates across both legacy and modernized schemas, and providing essential support for regression testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Throughout the project lifecycle, the Worker will maintain comprehensive documentation required for NASWA SIDES compliance and collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders to ensure that all testing objectives and project milestones are successfully achieved. Perform other duties as assigned to maintain operations.
