Job description

Job Description

Founded in 1966, Amalga Composites is a leader in engineered composite solutions. Based in West Allis, WI, we manufacture custom filament wound composite structures for industrial manufacturing, fluid power, energy, automotive, aerospace, and defense applications. Amalga is ISO 9001:2015 certified.

We are looking for a Key Account Manager, Industrial Markets to grow existing accounts and develop new business across industrial applications. This role is ideal for someone who can sell, build relationships, and have credible technical conversations with engineers, buyers, plant managers, sourcing teams, and operations leaders.

This is not a traditional sales role. Amalga's products are custom and application-specific, so the right person must be able to understand customer needs, ask strong technical questions, identify where composites may provide value, and work internally with engineering, operations, estimating, and customer service to move opportunities from first conversation to quote, prototype, approval, and production.

We do not do bureaucracy. We are not looking for someone who wants to spend their day filling out call logs or piles of paperwork. We are looking for someone who can take ownership, get in front of customers, create opportunities, and help customers understand where Amalga's capabilities can solve real manufacturing and performance challenges.

Your Location

  • Your Home Office: Fully remote, U.S.-based, near a major airport
  • Our Headquarters: 10600 W. Mitchell St. West Allis, WI 53214
