Role Overview

The Project Manager supports the Medicare Stars Strategic Solutions Unit by managing the annual Stars work plan and medium to largescale projects of moderate complexity within a matrixed environment including HEDIS, CAHPS, and HOS data projects, driving cross-functional quality improvement, vendor management, and compliance to boost plan performance and member experience. The role applies subject matter knowledge to resolve operational issues, coordinate cross functional workflows, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The Project Manager also provides ongoing leadership updates through concise, timely status reports that highlight progress, risks, and decision needs to maintain stakeholder alignment.

Work Arrangements

  • This is a remote position within the United States working East Coast hours.

Responsibilities

Project Execution & Delivery

  • Manages internal project delivery for medium-to-large-scale projects, typically within a single location. Coordinates and integrates work across functional areas, ensuring deliverables meet stakeholder expectations and established deadlines.

Stakeholder & Team Leadership

  • Manages relationships with first- to mid-level stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Analysis & Problem Solving

  • Performs evaluations where decisions require consideration of multiple factors, applying judgment within defined procedures.

Leadership Update

  • Provides ongoing leadership updates through concise, timely status reports that highlight progress, risks, and decision needs to maintain stakeholder alignment.

Education/Experience

  • Associate's Degree.

  • At least 3 yrs related experience in Project Management.

  • PMP certification is strongly preferred or a willingness to obtain within 6 months to 1 year after beginning employment.

Other Skills

  • Experience with Smartsheet preferred.

  • Demonstrates curiosity and willingness to learn emerging technologies, including AI tools like Copilot, to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
