Overview

Our client, a US Fortune 1,000 company and a major process services provider to Government Health and Human services agencies in the US, seeks an accomplished Customer Service Representative.

  • Location: Texas (Must be located in Texas)
  • Duration: 6 months+ temp-to-hire
  • Pay rate: $16/hr on W2

Important Requirements

  • Bilingual fluency in English and one of the following: Spanish, Japanese, Laotian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Cambodian, Korean, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Hmong, or Armenian.
  • Work schedule: Must be available 9 AM to 9 PM PST, Monday through Friday.
  • Equipment: Must have your own laptop/computer.
  • Internet: Wired internet connection (Download: 20 Mbps minimum, Upload: 5 Mbps minimum).

Job Description

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of all information.
  • Ability to comply with current and updated policies and procedures.
  • Ability to interact courteously and effectively with a diverse population; cultural competency.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
  • Ability to execute many complex tasks simultaneously and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time.

Job Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), or web-based portal regarding programs and services.
  • Record customer interactions and transactions by documenting details of inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve problems to ensure appropriate changes are made.
  • Refer unresolved grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding potential needs or concerns.
  • Perform accurate data entry.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
