Overview:

Our client, a Medical Center facility under the aegis of a California Public Ivy university and one of largest health delivery systems in California, seeks accomplished Healthcare Digital Product Manager.

Candidate must be authorized to work in USA without requiring sponsorship

Location: Oakland, CA (Largely Remote)

Duration: 12 months contract w/ possibility of extension or conversion to FTE role

Notes:

  • Position is largely remote but there is expectation that candidate may be required to come onsite in California 1-4 times a year to meet with team quarterly.

Description:

  • Own and support product initiatives tied to Find a doctor and other healthcare experiences.
  • Apply strong product thinking to complex, regulated problems.
  • Write clear detailed epics, user stories and acceptance criteria covering multiple user-types and success metrics grounded in user and business value.
  • Utilize and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to continually drive product improvements and show measurable outcomes from product releases.
  • Partner with engineering, design, data, and clinical teams to deliver end-to-end features.
  • Determine and analyze KPIs at a product level to establish experience success, failures, and next steps through iteration.
  • Effectively organize and lead brainstorming sessions.
  • Help identify and evaluate AI use cases (e.g., summarization, personalization, decision support, automation).
  • Conduct market research.
  • Learn continuously through experimentation, feedback, and outcomes.
  • You'll help build products that:
    • Make healthcare easier to understand and navigate
    • Improve transparency around accessing and navigating care options
    • Give members clearer access to their health information
    • Use AI responsibly to reduce friction and improve outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Should not have more than 6 years of experience (over 6 years will be overqualified for this role).
  • Software skills required: Microsoft Office software and Jira.
  • Excellent communication (presenting).
  • Waterfall and agile practices.
  • Presentation creation.
  • AI, Elastic, Healthcare experience are nice to have qualifications but not mandatory.
