Our client, a public-benefit corporation that promotes energy efficiency, renewable energy, and emissions reduction while supporting economic development and environmental protection, seeks an accomplished Project Coordinator -- Operational Excellence.

Position Details

  • Position: Project Coordinator -- Operational Excellence
  • Contract: 12-month contract with option to extend
  • Work Arrangement: Remote (Must be commutable to Albany office)
  • Pay Rate: $35--$40 per hour (depending on experience)

  • Remote Work Requirements: Candidate must have a computer, cell phone, and reliable high-speed internet.

Position Overview

The Project Coordinator will provide project coordination and administrative support to the Operational Excellence Department. This role supports both Learning & Development and Operations activities, ensuring effective coordination, communication, and execution of departmental initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings across teams
  • Take meeting notes and consolidate documentation
  • Track, follow up on, and complete action items from tactical meetings
  • Create, update, and maintain reports as assigned
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new systems and software
  • Support project documentation, data collection, and data analysis efforts
  • Maintain and track overall project status
  • Coordinate and manage training registrations, attendance, and completion
  • Support training enrollments and new hire Knowledge Base orientations
  • Assist with Knowledge Base and Learning Management System maintenance
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with data entry, data management, analysis, and data cleaning
  • Ability to conduct research using primary and secondary sources
  • Strong administrative skills, including schedule coordination, communications, and reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with speed, accuracy, and sound judgment
  • Professional communication skills with the ability to interact with executives, managers, and team members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree required
