Job Summary
The Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting and improving day-to-day business operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and alignment with organizational goals. This role analyzes workflows, coordinates cross-functional processes, and implements operational improvements to enhance productivity and performance.
The Operations Specialist works closely with internal teams including finance, customer success, HR, and leadership to streamline operations and support business growth in a fully remote environment.
This is a fully remote position; however, applicants must currently reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily operational activities across departments
- Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Develop and maintain operational procedures and documentation
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics
- Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership review
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning activities
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and operational standards
- Collaborate with teams to resolve operational issues and inefficiencies
- Support implementation of tools, systems, and automation initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
- 2--5 years of experience in operations, business analysis, or process improvement roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with project management or workflow tools such as Asana, Trello, or Monday.com
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
- Experience in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
- Knowledge of business operations in SaaS, finance, healthcare, or technology industries
