Job Description
A mid-sized boutique law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-7 years of experience specializing exclusively in labor and employment defense matters for employers in California. Candidate can reside near one of their California offices (Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, or San Diego).

Key Responsibilities
- Advise and counsel private sector employer-clients on employment and personnel matters
- Manage labor and employment litigation from inception through resolution, including court and arbitration proceedings
- Represent clients before state and federal administrative agencies
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to employment matters
- Conduct research and prepare legal opinions on labor and employment law issues
- Collaborate with team members while managing independent responsibilities and client engagements
Qualifications
- 3-7 years of experience representing private sector employers in labor and employment law matters in California
- Excellent writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not required
- Must be licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) with a strong academic record
- Must maintain continuing licensure requirements for practicing law in California
