Location and Terms
- Location: Arlington, VA 22209
- Salary: $125K-$130K annually (W2)
- Work Environment: Hybrid (1 day WFH)
- Term: 12-month contract with potential for conversion
- Referral Fee: $500 for successful hires
Important Eligibility Requirements
Due to the required government clearance, only US Citizens may be considered. Candidates must have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days or more than 180 cumulative days.
Position Description
The successful candidate will work independently and within teams to extract, clean, and validate data to support investigative and audit products. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing experiments, testing hypotheses, and building scalable models using AI and machine learning.
- Developing visualization solutions and translating complex technical findings into clear narratives.
- Leading AI activities such as natural language processing (NLP) and predictive analytics.
- Performing data collection from structured and unstructured sources, including criminal intelligence and internal databases.
- Engineering data analytic solutions, from prototyping to full implementation.
- Ensuring data security and compliance with quality guidelines.
Position Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience with coding languages (SQL, Python, R, JavaScript).
- 3+ years of experience with machine learning, NLP, RPA, AI, and data mining.
- 6+ months of experience with AWS or Azure services (Databricks, Data Factory, Data Lake).
- Skills: Strong proficiency in relational databases, ETL strategies, and business intelligence tools (Power BI, DAX, M). Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the law enforcement or audit industry.
- Professional certifications in data science or analytics.
