Job Description
Our client is hiring a Legal Administrative Assistant with 3 years of experience in corporate/transactional law to support their team.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and the PSS Team to produce top-quality work while adapting to changing business needs.
- Prepare and edit corporate documents, including board minutes, real estate closings, banking documentation, and contracts.
- Handle document editing and redlining.
- Prepare and finalize estate planning documents.
- Prepare and record deeds.
- E-file estate and probate matters.
- Draft routine communications and correspondence.
- Review and electronically file incoming mail.
- Communicate effectively with internal team members and external clients.
- Manage scheduling for internal and external meetings and maintain calendars.
- Conduct non-legal research using electronic resources.
- Process vendor expenses electronically.
Requirements
- Ability to problem-solve, think independently, and manage projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with a diverse group of attorneys and staff with courtesy and tact.
- Excellent proofreading skills for contextual, grammatical, typographic, and spelling errors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in technology, including advanced knowledge of Word, Outlook, redline/compare software, and working knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to work in a positive, collaborative team environment.
