Location and Terms

  • Location: Boston, MA 02210
  • Salary/Payrate: $70K-$95K annually + benefits
  • Work Environment: Hybrid (2 days WFH)
  • Term: Permanent / Full-time
  • Referral Fee: $500 referral bonus available

Job Overview

Candidates must have iManage, CourtAlert, or similar software experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review, interpret, and docket deadlines from incoming court notices and filings in CourtAlert.
  • Calculate and calendar litigation deadlines based on applicable procedural rules.
  • Maintain accurate case calendars and respond to case team requests for deadline calendaring.
  • Monitor court activity and update docket entries and deadlines as needed.
  • Work with the firm's West Coast docketing specialist to develop and standardize workflows and docketing practices across offices.
  • Support centralization of certain electronic filing functions.
  • Manage setup and maintenance of federal CM/ECF attorney accounts, including multifactor authentication.
  • Ensure that docket entries and deadlines comply with applicable procedural rules and firm practices.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS preferred.
  • 3 years of work experience with litigation docketing or calendaring in a law firm or legal services environment.
  • Familiarity with federal and state court rules, in particular California, Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey (multi-jurisdiction experience is a plus).
  • Experience with litigation docketing software (CourtAlert or similar systems preferred).
  • Familiarity with federal CM/ECF filing systems and Massachusetts state eFiling.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret court notices and deadlines accurately.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks.
  • High degree of proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office, PDF tools (e.g., Kofax Power PDF Advanced), document management systems (e.g., iManage/FileSite), and database management/administration systems.
