Senior ML/AI Engineer/Remote

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ML/AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions. This fully remote role involves building production-grade AI systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation across data, automation, predictive analytics, and generative AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy machine learning and AI models for business and product applications.
• Develop scalable ML pipelines, data processing workflows, and model deployment solutions.
• Train, fine-tune, evaluate, and optimize machine learning and deep learning models.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams.
• Implement MLOps best practices for model monitoring, versioning, CI/CD, and automation.
• Work with large datasets and cloud-based AI/ML platforms.
• Develop APIs and services for AI model integration into applications.
• Optimize model performance, scalability, and inference efficiency.
• Conduct research and stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies and frameworks.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical architecture decisions.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with security and data governance standards.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in machine learning, deep learning, and AI model development.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.
• Experience with NLP, computer vision, recommendation systems, or generative AI technologies.
• Knowledge of MLOps tools and deployment frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and big data technologies is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience deploying production AI systems at scale.
• Relevant certifications or open-source contributions are a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI applications.
• Exposure to vector databases, RAG architectures, or AI agents.
• Experience in SaaS, fintech, healthcare, e-commerce, or enterprise AI environments.
• Remote/distributed team collaboration experience.
