Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis including cash flow, profit & loss statements, and budgeting processes to support strategic planning.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models using tools like Microsoft Excel, VBA, Power BI, and Tableau to visualize data trends and forecast future performance.
- Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets utilizing SQL, ERP systems, Hyperion, and other financial software to generate actionable insights.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations that communicate findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Perform cost accounting and governmental accounting tasks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support business analysis initiatives by utilizing quantitative research techniques such as variance analysis and scenario modeling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic projects involving investment banking concepts, business intelligence tools, and financial software solutions.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, data visualization, and advanced functions; experience with VBA is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts such as profit & loss management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Experience with data collection methods and tools like SQL, Bloomberg terminals, Power BI, Tableau, Hyperion, and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of corporate accounting practices along with governmental accounting standards where applicable.
- Ability to perform quantitative analysis including risk assessment, cost control strategies, and cash flow analysis.
- Excellent skills in financial report writing combined with the ability to interpret complex data into clear insights.
- Demonstrated business analysis capabilities with a focus on strategic planning and business intelligence solutions.
- Strong math skills paired with solid financial acumen; familiarity with investment banking principles is a plus. Pay: $80,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
Work Location: Remote
