Must have:
- At least 8 years of experience supporting networking for DoD command and control systems such as MSCT, CAC2S, ADSI, or TBMCS.
- STEM-related bachelors degree (math, engineering, statistics, or physics).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and MS Project).
- Cisco Certified Network Administrator credentials.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Experience with modern information systems, including computer hardware, data storage, networks, and distributed systems.
- Experience deploying networks using VLANs, spanning tree, and multicast video.
- Experience with electronic key management systems and the operation of controlled cryptographic items.
- Experience with tactical networking RF waveforms such as ANW2 and TSM.
- Experience supporting communications planning and coordination, including spectrum and cryptographic activities.
- Experience designing and deploying IPv6 networks.
- Experience with Zero Trust technologies.
- Experience in DoD spectrum management for communications systems.
- Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+ or Certified Information Security Systems Professional, or equivalent.
- Requirement: ACQ 1010 within 6 months of hire.
- Requirement: TST 1100 within 9 months of hire.
- Desired training: CLE 001, LOG 104, and PMT 0170.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure C2 networks in test, training, and operational environments.
- Develop and validate test procedures for assessment and reporting.
- Design network architectures and system diagrams for systems on the move, including operations over tactical radios.
- Prepare documentation for planning, testing, and reporting of systems under test.
- Identify potential risks affecting systems under test.
- Recommend ways to reduce risk to schedule and cost.
- Provide phone-based troubleshooting support and resolve networking issues for employees and DoD clients.
- Communicate technical issues clearly to internal teams and government stakeholders.
