Argentum Search Group has partnered with a boutique yet well-established consulting firm based in New York that is seeking an experienced forensic accountant to join its team. As a small, distributed business, they offer fully remote working, with team members located across the U.S.
Responsibilities
The role involves working on smaller engagements, allowing for quicker turnaround times and exposure to a diverse range of cases. Experience preparing expert reports and supporting legal proceedings is highly desirable.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on forensic accounting experience, with a background in litigation support, valuation analysis, and fraud investigations.
In addition, candidates should possess:
- A strong foundation in accounting principles and financial analysis
- A high level of attention to detail
- The ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in tools such as Excel and data analysis software is expected, and professional certifications such as CPA, ACA, or CFE are typically preferred.
About the Firm
The firm itself is relatively new to the market, having been established around 24 months ago by partners from a larger organization. Since then, it has grown to a team of eight professionals, most of whom work remotely.
