Job Opportunity: Remote Medical Biller & Data Entry
We are seeking a dedicated individual to work from home as a Medical Biller and Data Entry specialist. This role offers flexible working hours and includes a comprehensive one-week online training program. Your training supervisor will guide you through the necessary software for medical billing, data entry, and accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
The Executive Director will collaborate closely with leaders, directors, and teams across various departments including Development, Alumni Relations, Events/Stewardship, Law, and Marketing and Communications. This role is pivotal in coordinating efforts to build robust support for all fundraising and development initiatives.
Key duties include:
- Developing and managing the full scope of operations, services, gifts, and information management to support Development and Alumni Relations programs.
- Providing comprehensive leadership and oversight to all service teams.
- Performing detailed program and campaign readiness assessments and analysis to improve and implement effective services, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborating with multiple University areas to establish projects, coordinate constituent information, report data, and reconcile transactions.
- Overseeing the Department's Systems and Applications group and the Associate Director of Gift, Records, and Data Integrity.
- Developing and maintaining an effective organizational structure.
- Recruiting, training, and supervising unit staff, fostering a strong team of Associate Directors and Managers to support departmental objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum of one year of professional experience in Customer Service, Accounting, or as a Sales Representative.
- Proven track record of successful leadership, management, and strategic vision in supporting organization, systems, applications, and data environments.
- Significant experience with Banner Advancement or comparable systems is required.
- Knowledge of relevant business standards, including IRS regulations for gifts and receipts, gift agreements, FASB pledge reporting, CASE reporting, acknowledgments, operating guidelines, and reporting requirements.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (debit and credit).
