You will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely processing of receivables while contributing to special projects, audits, and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Process daily lockbox uploads and generate bank reports, cash application data, and check batches to support accurate and timely cash application.

  • Research and resolve cash application issues, including shortages, remittance discrepancies, credit balances, and other variances, using strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Manage the dispute resolution process for all customer payment issues and work directly with customers to resolve discrepancies promptly and professionally.

  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations and prepare all necessary journal entries to support the general ledger and month-end close.

  • Experience supporting general ledger activities, month-end close, and light operational accounting tasks.

  • Experience with SAP systems is strongly preferred; familiarity with Oracle or other ERP systems is a plus.

  • Background in accounting with exposure to journal entries, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliations.

  • Experience with cash applications, posting cash, researching and resolving shortages, and analyzing credit balances.
