Job Summary
The Pipeline Renewal Support Specialist is responsible for the daily execution of activities that maintain a healthy and accurate Renewal sales funnel. This role involves identifying upcoming opportunities, qualifying and creating/updating opportunity records, and ensuring data integrity for accurate forecasting and timely, compliant proposals. The Specialist will also support account planning, pipeline hygiene, and reporting to enhance conversion rates and operational efficiency.
What you'll do
- Maintain opportunity hygiene by updating stages, splits, territories, and customer-specific verbiage to ensure reliable dashboards.
- Support verification that wins are logged correctly and ensure pipeline opportunities are converted into executed projects.
- Track recurring blockers, propose process or tool enhancements, and participate in pilot initiatives that streamline pipeline workflows and improve conversion rates.
- Track and update key pipeline metrics such as opportunity intake volume, data-quality accuracy, quote-turn-time SLA compliance, stage aging/velocity, total and weighted pipeline value, and quote-to-win conversion rates to reflect real-time funnel health for leadership decision-making.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
MUST HAVEs
- Bachelor's Degree OR 4 years of relevant or related experience without a degree in renewal operations, quoting, sales support, or opportunity management.
- Familiarity with key platforms: Salesforce, partner/distributor portals, Quote Automate, Outlook, WebEx, and Teams. Ability to quickly adopt new systems and tools.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite Products.
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKups).
NICE TO HAVEs
- Technology sales support experience.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Software renewals experience.
- Experience working with Cisco products.

- Detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to reconcile pricing, dates, and partner rules across large opportunity volumes.
- Collaborative problem-solver who escalates effectively, proposes improvements, and supports a culture of continuous improvement across the pipeline team.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, maintaining professional relationships with all departments.
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously and adapt to changing business needs while meeting deadlines.
- Solid attention to detail and a penchant for accuracy.
- Time-management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Ability to prioritize work and perform accurately under pressure with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions.
- Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, apply common sense, and follow basic instructions and guidelines.

- This is a Contract to Hire position.
- Location: Vernon Hills, IL.
- Workplace Type: Fully remote.
Pay and Benefits
- Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
