Supply Chain Planner

We are seeking a passionate supply chain professional to enhance our client's sourcing and supply chain management strategies. This role is crucial in ensuring predictable on-time performance, cost optimization, and the delivery of accurate and timely information across the supply base and infrastructure organization. Our focus is on smart growth and high efficiency, delivering a trusted experience to customers and partners worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the key link between the Capacity Planning Team and the Build Order & Fulfillment Team to stabilize supply-demand shaping.

  • Utilize data and analytics to match supply with capacity planning and customer demand requirements.

  • Establish and define key metrics and performance indicators to drive process improvements.

  • Focus on demand-supply shaping activities to execute and deliver finished goods to global data centers.

  • Maintain company inventory, minimizing overstock and out-of-stock occurrences.

  • Analyze supply and demand to forecast and manage inventory supply.

  • Design and implement tools for inventory management.

  • Develop and drive key performance indicators and metrics both internally and with external partners.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to achieve delivery performance targets.

  • Manage and communicate tradeoffs between supplier and business needs.

  • Manage continuous improvements and process initiatives alongside day-to-day operations.

  • Partner with sister teams to ensure timely server reservation and collaborate with engineering teams on continuous improvement projects.

Essential Skills

  • 4-5+ years of experience in supply chain with knowledge and operational experience.

  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration to drive business results.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong project management skills involving global system integrators and internal partners.

  • Ability to perform complex data analysis for supply chain performance improvement.

  • Customer relationship building and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Root cause analysis and problem-solving abilities with a focus on corrective actions.

  • Capability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and manage conflicting priorities.

  • Support organization-wide projects to improve delivery, reliability, and agility.

  • MS/MBA preferred.

  • Experience in IT, high-tech electronics, manufacturing, or service supply chain is advantageous.

Work Environment

This position is 100% remote, with a typical schedule of Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, and no overtime. Candidates will be expected to provide their own equipment or software as required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.00/hr.
