Job Summary
Revenue Cycle Trainer II serves as the primary training and support resource for Revenue Cycle education across Stanford Health Care (SHC). This role ensures employees are educated and trained in optimal Revenue Cycle operations by applying adult learning methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop expert knowledge in functionality and associated workflows across multiple Revenue Cycle departments.
- Maintain knowledge base by collaborating with Revenue Cycle Operational Leaders, Program Managers, and Informatics Education.
- Incorporate system enhancements into training.
- Maintain appropriate certifications.
- Perform work under guidance and supervision to develop expertise.
- Demonstrate knowledge of front-end, middle, and back-end revenue cycle processes.
- Apply general medical terminology during training delivery when appropriate.
- Utilize knowledge of insurance company, State, and Federal websites for billing and reimbursement information.
- Work with multiple software applications, including Epic, word processing, database management, spreadsheets, presentation software, electronic calendar, and email.
- Apply industry-standard adult learning, training, and coaching principles and methods.
- Understand basic project management concepts.
- Execute identified plans considering available information, constraints, and anticipated risks.
- Register, track, and grade users in Learning Management Systems.
- Manage class time efficiently.
- Focus on customer service and high-quality service offerings.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills for inter-departmental collaboration.
- Communicate effectively and professionally to diverse audiences.
- Make effective oral presentations and prepare concise written reports.
- Persuade and influence learners or partners.
- Maintain composure during challenging interpersonal interactions.
- Share feedback professionally and tactfully.
- Propose innovative training methodologies and approaches.
- Work independently or as part of a team.
- Apply judgment and make informed decisions.
- Organize and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Identify problems and potential solutions for training and support issues.
Additional Qualifications
- Responsible for designing learning programs supporting new hire onboarding and continuous professional growth in Revenue Cycle.
- Contributes to curriculum development and learning materials maintenance.

Pay and Benefits
- Pay Range: $32.00 - $78.00/hr
