Your Role:

Do you want to help companies develop their next-generation digital platforms and applications – and successfully bring complex transformation projects to market?

As a Senior Specialized Sales Executive, you will be responsible for achieving ambitious order intake and revenue targets for one or more of the company's key offerings (e.g., Digital Applications, SAP, Cloud & Modern Infrastructure, IoT, Cybersecurity). The role requires deep technical expertise in marketing complex, custom-developed solutions, the ability to develop and implement sales strategies, and manage complex sales cycles with regional and local key accounts and new prospects.

The focus is on acquiring new customers (New Logos), developing customized solutions, identifying new business opportunities, and sustainably expanding the company's market presence.

Your Responsibilities:

Technical Responsibility for Specialized Sales Opportunities

  • Development and implementation of sales strategies for a specialized service portfolio within the Digital Applications business unit: e.g., Software Development, Application Management, and Application Modernization.
  • Proactive identification, qualification, and management of sales opportunities with key accounts and new prospects.
  • Advising customers at CxO and business decision-maker level, and developing customized solution concepts that align with customers' digital transformation and modernization goals.

Ownership of Transformation and Development Projects

  • Taking end-to-end responsibility for sales processes within your specialized technology area.
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships at decision-maker and management levels, ensuring that proposed development and modernization solutions align with customers' strategic objectives.
  • Close, cross-functional collaboration with existing account teams, business development, as well as consulting, pre-sales, architecture, business line, alliances, and partners.
  • Developing and implementing account growth strategies to drive cross-selling and upselling in the context of application landscapes.

Maximizing Account Growth

  • Leading cross-selling and upselling initiatives within your solution area and related topics.
  • Ensuring high customer satisfaction and sustainable profitability through the introduction of new services and solutions.

Support with Large Deals

  • Supporting deal teams in positioning and closing large, complex software and modernization deals (€10-30 million, occasionally >€30 million).
  • Ensuring a strong market presence and competitiveness for the company.

Customer Planning and Innovation

  • Supporting strategic account planning and continuously gathering relevant customer insights to drive innovation, growth, and portfolio development.
  • Ensuring that offered development and modernization solutions meet customers' current and future business requirements.

Business KPIs

  • Order intake within your area of responsibility.
  • Qualified pipeline and closing rate.
  • Proportion of cross-selling and upselling in the portfolio.
  • Customer participation in events and innovation workshops.
  • Quality of account and business planning (ABP).

Your Profile:

  • Completed university degree (e.g., in business, engineering, computer science) or equivalent qualification.
  • Many years of relevant sales experience in complex, consultative IT/technology solutions, ideally in software development, application management and modernization, or digital product development.
  • Proven success in building and expanding customer relationships and closing large projects.
  • In-depth market and industry knowledge, as well as a robust network in the target market.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills at management and decision-maker level.
  • High degree of initiative, goal orientation, and closing strength.
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking skills, as well as entrepreneurial action.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills, and willingness to travel.
