Pay Range: $22.90 - $34.35
Job Description:
- Enter and process incoming referrals accurately into current software system.
- Support insurance workflow by adding authorization details and documenting eligibility updates within system scope.
- Identify and correct data entry errors to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate with team members to support timely referral processing.
- Maintain productivity standards while ensuring a high level of data accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1--2 years of experience in healthcare, data entry, or intake operations preferred.
- Strong typing proficiency and ability to work across multiple systems simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a remote weekend environment while maintaining strong focus and minimizing distractions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with:
- HCHB (Homecare Homebase)
- CarePort / Ensocare / referral intake systems
- Epic
- Basic understanding of:
- Insurance verification and authorization workflows
- Home health referral processes

Provides weekend support to Atrium Health at Home Central Intake by performing high-volume data entry and referral processing, with a strong focus on supporting insurance authorization workflows to ensure timely readiness for Start of Care (SOC). This role is responsible for entering referrals into system platforms, assisting with insurance-related needs within scope, and maintaining accuracy, compliance, and workflow efficiency while working independently in a weekend environment.
