The Opportunity

The business is investing heavily in its human resources and people function, and is simultaneously hiring two critical HR appointments that will work in partnership to elevate the organisation to the next level.

Alongside the Head of HR for Business growth, the company is also investing in a dedicated HR leadership/support function, creating a genuine opportunity to build, influence, and scale a modern People team rather than inherit a traditional HR department. We need a senior/lead influence who is confident to either run the department or play a significant part in its exciting growth.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $125,000 - $265,000
  • Bonus: 20% - 55%
  • Perks: Healthcare allowances, several extras, and monthly prize draws for 5* holidays abroad.

Location & Flexibility

  • Remote-based with tech hubs in Chicago, Washington DC, Miami & New York (very flexible on travel).
  • London (UK) HQ with opportunities for business and pleasure travel.

Future Outlook: 2 Key Roles

  • Head of HR for Business: Drive the strategy and leverage an existing solid foundation with plenty of autonomy to optimise as you see fit.
  • HR Leader (Scaling Focus): A true leadership role focused on scaling tech, marketing, and sales functions alongside recruitment partner Billy Hall at Aventis Solutions. There is significant potential for vertical and horizontal progression.

Key Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Head of HR, Head of People, People Director, Lead Human Resources, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of culture-building, organisational development, and employee engagement.
  • Expertise across talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, and/or leadership development.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to align people strategy to business growth objectives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive influencing capability.
  • Experience building or transforming HR functions during periods of growth.
  • Passion for creating inclusive, high-performing cultures.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

Role Overview

As a leader in this function, you will lead the strategic direction of the People function while working alongside a newly appointed HR leadership partner to create a scalable, modern, and high-performing employee experience.

You will partner directly with executives and business leaders to ensure the company attracts exceptional talent, develops future leaders, and maintains a culture that combines the innovation of a technology business with the people-first ethos of hospitality & information technology services.
