SUMMARY
The Enterprise Account Executive plays a key role in expanding Avetta's footprint by driving new business with enterprise clients. This role requires a consultative sales approach, focusing on listening, uncovering challenges, and crafting solutions that deliver measurable impact. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of closing high-value SaaS deals, successfully managing complex sales cycles, and consistently surpassing revenue targets. Experience working with large multinational companies, engaging complex buying committees and buyer journeys, and leveraging proven methodologies such as MEDDPICC is essential.
The Enterprise Account Executive owns the primary relationship with prospective Avetta clients before and during their buyer journey. Once a prospect becomes a client, the Enterprise Account Executive continues to manage and service the relationship until the account is fully established, at which point it transitions to the Account Management Team.
Hybrid Schedule: If residing within commutable distance to an Avetta office, a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days work from home) will be requested. Remote work may be considered for those outside of commutable distance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive new client acquisition by identifying and engaging enterprise prospects, building relationships with key decision-makers, and developing strategies to generate business opportunities and grow Avetta's sales pipeline.
- Oversee the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through presentations, negotiations, and signed agreements, while partnering with internal teams to ensure client needs are met.
- Maintain a weekly emphasis on business development initiatives for consistent progress.
- Consistently deliver revenue goals by driving high-value deals, maintaining a well-managed pipeline in Salesforce, and providing clear, timely forecasts and insights to leadership.
- Partner with an assigned Sales Development Representative to execute targeted prospecting strategies.
- Represent Avetta at industry trade shows to showcase solutions and build relationships with prospective clients.
- Engage in networking activities to foster industry relationships and promote Avetta's solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive Avetta Overview Presentations and Product Demonstrations online.
- Travel regularly to client sites within the assigned territory and key accounts for in-person meetings and relationship strengthening. Travel is also required for sales events, conferences, and other client-facing engagements.
- Provide essential support to new clients during the initial launch phase and throughout the first ninety days, focusing on maximizing revenue and ensuring client success.
- Actively participate in weekly 1-on-1 meetings and team calls to stay aligned with Avetta's goals and strategies.
- Attend additional trainings, meetings, and seminars as required.
- Adhere to any other duties or tasks assigned by the company.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & TRAINING
- 7 years of SaaS sales experience, including 3-5 years of enterprise-level SaaS sales experience.
- Experience in selling safety-related products or services, working with contractors, working in procurement, or working in an industry relevant to Avetta's customer base is a plus.
- Organizational Skills: Significant travel, meeting coordination, and RFP/RFI/RFQ response management require excellent organizational abilities.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills are essential.
- Public Speaking: Ability to confidently present in front of groups, maintain audience engagement, and communicate complex topics with clarity and poise.
- Self-Motivation: Capable of setting and achieving goals independently with minimal supervision.
- Technical Understanding: Ability to grasp and effectively communicate SaaS-based software functionality, including product capabilities and solutions.
- Ethics: Embody Avetta's core values of honesty and integrity, making client recommendations that align with both Avetta's and the client's best interests.

Compensation and Benefits
Avetta is committed to salary transparency. The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 USD per year, with commission eligibility. Final compensation will be determined by factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
