The VP Digital Enablement & Innovation will be responsible for communicating the impact of Azurity's digital transformation roadmap execution at all levels across the organization. S/He will lead a cross-functional team comprised of technology specialists that will also include the leadership of the Enterprise Information Management team and the Digital & Technology Transformation organization. This senior leader will drive and lead the digitalization and integration of data, digital, and workflow technologies that will transform Azurity and leverage the power of integration to eliminate disconnected technologies and siloed solutions.
Key Accountabilities
- Leading a global team of developers, engineers, and strategy planners who lead and participate in the development of and execution for Azurity's digital transformation.
- Supporting the establishment of a culture of collaboration and integration, open communication, accountability, and timely decision making.
- Providing significant experience and expertise in emerging technologies, while advising on the selection and use of same.
- Development of a Digitalization roadmap aligned to Azurity's strategic plan and vision.
- Assuring Information Systems/Information Technology strategies align with overall organizational mission and vision.
- Coordinating internal transformation strategy efforts, working alongside the CDIO and cross-functional Business Leaders.
- Driving efficiency and streamlining operations, ensuring integration of internal processes and systems across products, regions, and locations.
- Driving strategic research initiatives and developing IT partnerships.
- Overseeing management of budgets, expenses, and resources (CAPEX and OPEX) for the Digital & Technology organization.
- Consulting on the adequate level of technology services and performance supporting current business needs.
- Consulting on data and technology process consolidation across the enterprise and optimizing associated costs.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree plus 12+ years of experience, or military experience in related fields. 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD.
- A minimum of 20 years' work experience, with at least 10 years in a large global organization as well as >7 years' management experience.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience leveraging modern enabling technologies, information, data, and analytics.
Technical Expertise
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale data services and integration, as well as incorporation of usable AI and related hyperautomation capabilities.
- Facilitates and coaches Global Digital & Technology personnel, Process Owners, Functional Owners, and Project Managers.
- Knowledgeable in product ownership, project delivery, and life sciences business operations.
- Drives accountability and guides global team to embrace and adopt prescribed corporate systems and standard solutions.
- Assists with publishing guidance and documentation to promote adoption.
- Proposes solutions based on research and synthesis; creates and enforces general operational principles.
- Demonstrates advanced understanding of Quality Management including ISO 9001:2008 requirements.
- Instructs others on how to thoroughly analyze data and present findings and recommendations.
- Skillfully interacts with executive leadership demonstrating expertise and insight.
