Diagnostic Radiologist-- Flexible Scheduling Options

Baylor Scott & White Health, Greater Austin Region, Texas

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking BE/BC subspecialty-trained or Emergency Department--focused diagnostic radiologists to join a well-established and growing radiology team in the Austin area. These positions offer exceptional flexibility, hybrid remote/onsite work options, and multiple scheduling models designed to support a variety of professional and lifestyle preferences.

Flexible Scheduling Options

Candidates may choose from several scheduling structures, including:

  1. Traditional Hybrid Schedule

    • Hybrid remote/onsite daytime coverage
    • No evenings or weekends
  2. Alternating Week Hybrid Schedule

    • Every-other-week 13 weekends
    • Hybrid remote/onsite daytime coverage
  3. Evening Remote ED/Inpatient Schedule

    • Fully remote evening coverage (2 PM -- 10PM)
    • 7-on /14-off schedule
    • 15 additional shifts per year

These flexible models provide opportunities for strong work-life balance while maintaining a collaborative and high-quality clinical practice environment.

Position Overview

Subspecialties sought: Abdominal, Cardiothoracic, Emergency, Musculoskeletal and Neuroradiology.

Daytime responsibilities will primarily focus within each subspecialty and a minor mix of general diagnostic radiology. Breast imaging, Neuroradiology and Interventional Radiology are covered by dedicated sub-specialists. PET/CT experience is optional but welcomed. Onsite coverage includes both hospital and outpatient imaging centers.

  • Shift and per click internal moonlighting options are available.
  • Stable Employed model with NO private equity involvement.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Texas
  • Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology through the appropriate specialty board
