Job description

Our client is actively seeking a Sr. Product Manager to support ecommerce initiatives focused on a direct-to-consumer approach.

This opportunity is 100% remote and must support Central Time Zone (CST).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Manage product backlogs.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party teams.
  • Utilize experience in the order management space.
  • Leverage Jira for project management.
  • No PMP certification required.
  • Open to various industries.

Must-Haves

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Own and define the product vision, roadmap, feature delivery, and overall success to enable a best-in-class end-to-end experience.
  • Backlog Management: Manage a backlog of features and enablers to enhance the product and extend its architectural and discovery runway. Responsible for overall product health, including technical health and risk communication. Provide leadership on sequencing and prioritizing investments to optimize value.
  • Leadership: Individual contributor role leading product teams to achieve key outcomes by collaborating with Product Owners, Domain Owners, and Analysts. Responsible for creating a positive team culture through growing, coaching, and establishing high-performing teams.
  • Tactical Execution: Strong product management skills with a proven track record of translating product and capability roadmaps into short-term, tactical delivery plans.
  • Data & Analytics: Familiarity with big data concepts. Ability to structure data analysis, driving analytics insights and analytical solutions to understand customer behaviors.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding key drivers of business value and translating them into business opportunities and analytical problems (e.g., how to grow a business).
  • Technical Aptitude: Willingness to understand and probe into technical details.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally across technical and business domains. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to present complex technical information clearly to executives and non-technical leaders.
  • Technical Infrastructure: Familiarity with Cloud technology and experience building systems that scale.
  • Stakeholder Management: Present recommendations to senior staff and internal clients. Mentor junior team members. Autonomously lead client relationships with senior business leaders as their single point of contact.
