Work model
Our client is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to support application modernization efforts and provide ongoing maintenance. This role requires at least 3+ years of experience working with .NET, .NET Core, and VB.NET. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing new development with support and maintenance work. The majority of the work will focus on front-end development using .NET Core, with UI components built in Blazor. Experience with Blazor is preferred and will help candidates stand out. This is a fully remote position, so strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in .NET development
- Strong front-end development experience, specifically with .NET Core
- Experience with application support, maintenance, and enhancements
- Proficient in troubleshooting and unit testing
- Experience modernizing legacy systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Blazor
- Background in the insurance industry
- Experience with VB.NET
