Product Manager -- Analytics & Data Solutions (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Fully Remote (US-based) Duration: Long-term contract (strong possibility of extension conversion to full-time)
We're partnering with a leading healthcare organization to find a hands-on Product Manager to join their analytics squad.
This is a high-impact role focused on building analytics-driven products that solve real data challenges --- specifically around data leakage, insights, and operational efficiency.
You'll own the product backlog end-to-end, work closely with data scientists and data engineers, and drive iterative delivery in a squad model that gives you significant autonomy. This is not a UI-focused product role --- it's deeply analytical and backend-oriented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and prioritize a data/analytics product backlog, clearly articulating business value and driving features from idea to delivery
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define and deliver solutions
- Lead core product ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and demos)
- Focus on analytics-based products that address complex data problems (no UI component)
- Translate user needs and business problems into clear requirements without relying on a visual interface
- Continuously iterate and improve products in a fast-paced, squad-based environment
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5 years of Product Management experience
- Strong product mindset with proven ability to drive backlog prioritization and articulate value
- Experience building analytics-focused or data-centric products (not UI/UX-heavy)
- Comfortable working closely with data scientists and data engineers
- Deep understanding of agile ceremonies, especially backlog refinement and product demos
- Ability to define user needs and success metrics for non-UI products
Preferred Qualifications:
- XP (Extreme Programming) or Kanban experience
- Background in healthcare, PBM, or pharmacy benefit management
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
What Our Client Offers:
- Fully remote, long-term contract with clear path to full-time conversion
- Opportunity to work on high-visibility analytics initiatives that directly impact millions of members
- Autonomous squad environment with real ownership
