Company Overview

Our client is a fast-growing healthcare staffing marketplace founded in 2016, now serving hundreds of thousands of healthcare professionals and millions of people across the United States. Profitable since 2022, the organisation leads the long-term care staffing sector and is rapidly expanding into home health, hospitals and beyond. Built on a mission to uplift communities, the company connects skilled healthcare workers with facilities that need them, enabling financial stability whilst delivering essential care. With over 1,000 remote-first team members, they've established themselves as a Y Combinator-backed leader with significant momentum and impact.

Our client is seeking a Manager, Strategic Partnerships to accelerate growth through strategic relationships with organisations already embedded in the healthcare ecosystem. This is an opportunity to build a new function from the ground up, creating partnership models that drive mutual value and expand market reach across healthcare services, real estate, technology and consulting sectors.

Position Overview

As Manager, Strategic Partnerships, you'll identify, develop and manage high-value relationships with healthcare REITs, law firms, technology vendors, consultants, advisory firms and industry associations. You'll own the complete partnership lifecycle -- from sourcing and prioritising potential partners through to launching initiatives and tracking performance. Your work will directly strengthen the organisation's market position, help reach more healthcare facilities and deliver increased value to both sides of the marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritise strategic partners with strong relationships across the healthcare operator ecosystem, including REITs, law firms, technology companies and industry associations
  • Build the business case for each partnership opportunity and lead outreach and discovery conversations with senior stakeholders
  • Negotiate partnership structures and coordinate internal teams to ensure commercial viability and operational feasibility
  • Create partnership models generating mutual value through referrals, co-marketing, strategic introductions, integrations and channel arrangements
  • Launch partnerships and track performance over time, reporting on outcomes and commercial impact
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows and events to develop and strengthen partner relationships
  • Gather market feedback and bring insights back into the business to shape strategy, positioning and product opportunities
  • Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Operations, Legal, Product and Leadership to align partnerships with company priorities

Requirements

  • 4 years' experience in strategic partnerships, business development, sales, growth, healthcare, healthcare technology, healthcare services, staffing, real estate, consulting or related field
  • Existing relationships within healthcare services, real estate, technology or adjacent industries
  • Proven experience sourcing, structuring and managing commercial relationships
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and build functions, playbooks or channels from the ground up
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong business judgment and ability to identify mutually beneficial opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust with senior external stakeholders and balance relationship-building with measurable commercial outcomes
  • Enthusiasm for building systems and playbooks that will guide future hires in this space

Benefits

  • Comprehensive insurance benefits and 401k options
  • Unlimited PTO and flexible holidays
  • Remote flexibility with hybrid working in Los Angeles
  • Opportunity to build a new partnership function and establish best practice playbooks
  • Career development within a fast-growing, profitable organisation

Alongside these benefits, you'll join a remote-first organisation with a genuine commitment to flexibility and impact, collaborating with 1,000 talented professionals united by a mission to uplift communities through meaningful work.
