The Opportunity

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Focus on the delivery of civil site development projects, including grading, stormwater, erosion control, culvert, and pavement design.
  • Have hands-on involvement in the permitting process.
  • Engage in significant interaction with multi-disciplinary internal teams and external clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform design of projects from the conceptual and bid phase through design completion.
  • Assist the Engineering Manager in maintaining project schedules and budgets.
  • Interface directly with the client or sub-consultants under the direction of the Engineering Manager.
  • Support business development through writing technical approaches, scopes of work, and presentations.
  • Ensure effective communication with other engineering disciplines and the project team.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Thorough understanding of civil site development (Site Plans, Permitting, Grading, Storm Water Management, Storm Water Design).
  • Ability and motivation to lead portions of complex projects with guidance and mentorship.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
  • Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.).
  • Holds an active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements.
