About This Role
The Private Financing Solutions (PFS) Business Management & Fund Recharges Analyst supports day-to-day business management and fund expense operations for BlackRock's Private Financing Solutions platform. This role partners closely with Finance, Fund Accounting, Legal, Compliance, and senior business leaders to manage budgets, oversee invoice processing and fund recharges, maintain strong financial controls, and support strategic and operational initiatives across a global organization.
This role is part of a global team spanning the US, UK, and APAC and requires strong execution, judgment, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day business management activities, including budgeting, expense tracking, and responding to ad-hoc corporate and regional requests.
- Act as a liaison between COOs, PFS leadership, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure efficient operations and appropriate approvals.
- Process invoices and spend requests through Coupa, including BLK-paid and fund-paid expenses, and issue invoices to portfolio companies where required.
- Review expenses for fund recharge eligibility, allocate costs to appropriate Due From Fund (DFF) GL accounts, and prepare supporting recharge schedules.
- Calculate and track fund recharges in accordance with fund documentation and internal policies, excluding non-rechargeable items (e.g., VAT) as applicable.
- Reconcile DFF balances, investigate aged or unmatched items, and coordinate resolution with Finance and Fund Accounting.
- Prepare periodic dashboards and reporting for T&E, G&A, market data, and recharge activity.
- Support audits, operational event reviews, and control documentation by providing clear, well-supported recharge and expense data.
- Identify process improvements, maintain documentation and trackers, and assist with onboarding new funds and operational setup.
Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation and Benefits
For New York, NY, the salary range for this position is USD$0.00 - USD$0.00. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
