About the Role
BCBST is seeking a strategic and collaborative Digital Product Manager passionate about building impactful digital products to enhance member experiences. This role is perfect for a leader who excels at the intersection of business, technology, and customer needs, and enjoys translating vision into execution within complex, high-visibility environments.
You will lead agile, cross-functional teams to ensure the end-to-end success of digital products, channels, and programs. Your responsibilities will include shaping product strategy, defining and managing roadmaps, and collaborating closely with Engineering and diverse stakeholders to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions. Experience in health insurance or similarly regulated, high-traffic digital environments is strongly preferred, given the role's focus on a widely used application and the need to navigate complexity, balance priorities, and maintain team alignment.
Success in this role is defined by delivering industry-leading digital solutions on time, building stakeholder trust, and continuously improving products that provide business value and exceptional member experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead agile teams in the ongoing management and advancement of digital products, channels, and programs.
- Develop innovative, industry-leading solutions tailored to BlueCross and its customers.
- Drive digital initiatives and cross-functional teams by defining strategy, tactics, and delivery timelines.
- Identify, research, and scope key business opportunities to support the future vision of digital solutions across products, programs, and campaigns.
- Build strong cross-team partnerships to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to establish priorities, gain buy-in, and align resources.
Job Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of professional corporate experience).
Experience
- 6 years of experience managing consumer tools/technology, or equivalent.
- 3 years of leadership/management experience.
- 1 year of project management, account management, or similar experience.
Skills & Certifications
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and function effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office M365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and SharePoint.
- Strong team player, organized, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Additional Information
- Location: Remote, with occasional travel within Tennessee (including Chattanooga headquarters).
