Job Summary
BlueCare of Tennessee is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide crucial finance and accounting support throughout the organization. This role involves partnering with business leaders to develop financial models, reports, and presentations that inform planning, forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making. Accurate and timely government reporting is also a key responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Support finance, investment, and accounting functions across the organization.
- Develop financial models, reports, and management-ready presentations.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax forms and other government reports.
- Conduct financial planning, investment analysis, forecasting, and budgeting as needed.
- Analyze competitive environments and present findings to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Experience:
- Proven ability to translate data into clear financial insights for leaders and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with a history of building models, forecasts, and/or budgets.
- Experience presenting to and communicating effectively with senior leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint essential) for analysis and executive materials.
- Experience with data tools and querying datasets for analysis and reporting.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of professional corporate experience).
- Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leadership.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Team player with strong organizational and multi-project management capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proven priority-setting and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with government reporting in a corporate setting.
- Experience assessing competitive landscapes and synthesizing trends into actionable insights.
- Solutions-oriented mindset, including experience with AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to enhance analysis, reporting, or decision-making.
- Experience improving or streamlining reporting processes (templates, dashboards, recurring deliverables).
