SQA Analyst III

Job Summary

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure quality, reliability, and governance for AI capabilities within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). This role involves validating AI-driven tools and workflows for engineering teams, focusing on automated test generation and execution, and AI-based code scanning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and own the test strategy for AI-related work, acting as a quality enablement partner.
• Review requirements early in the SDLC to identify gaps and integrate testing approaches.
• Validate systems and interfaces supporting AI-assisted development workflows using diverse testing techniques.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, architecture, and security teams to enhance quality outcomes for AI-enabled solutions.
• Prepare testing strategies and plans, performing end-to-end validation.
• Gather and review project requirements, creating and refining testing specification artifacts.
• Estimate project efforts using various techniques.
• Derive test scenarios, design test cases, manage test data, perform testing, and report results.
• Gain hands-on experience with functional and performance automation tools.
• Promote and recommend improvements to quality assurance standards.
• Communicate test delivery artifacts, results, and metrics to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Software Engineering or equivalent professional work experience (4 years).

Experience

• 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA).
• Minimum 2 years in the SQA Analyst I role.
• 3 years of experience with SQL Server or equivalent databases.
• 3 years of experience testing applications without a GUI, including API or web services, back-end processing, file processing, and system interfaces.
• 3 years of experience in test automation or performance testing, including troubleshooting.
• 2 years of experience working with Agile delivery teams and methodologies.

Skills & Certifications

• Familiarity with IT industry standards (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, IEEE).
• Knowledge of quality assurance and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in DevOps tools and technologies.
• Exposure to cloud application platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and technical presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Experience with tools such as A DO Testing, Neolode, Perfecto, Selenium, and RestAssured is beneficial.

• Normal working hours must align with EST.
• This is a fully remote role, but final interviews require an on-site visit to Chattanooga, TN.
