Role Overview
The Social Media Marketing Specialist is a part-time role for an independent contractor. ~10-15 hrs/week | Starting at $25/hr | Fully remote. Start date: ASAP
Job Description
The consultant will be responsible for delivering the following professional outcomes:
- Social Media Management: Oversee and create content for Botanist's Instagram and TikTok accounts.
- Email Creation: Develop email templates and design marketing emails using Figma and Canva.
- Utilize Canva and Google AI Tools to take refine and recreate exitsing artwork and photos
- Community Management: Manage daily community interactions and respond to DMs and comments within 24 hours on weekdays. Proactively engage with relevant creators.
REQUIRED Qualifications
- MUST be based in United States.
- Proficiency in mobile-first video and static asset production, editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Figma, or similar), and social platform analytics.
- 2-4 years of professional experience managing social media accounts OR email marketing. Should be in beauty or supplement industry.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Strong copywriting skills and attention to detail.
Nice-To-Haves
- Experience with email marketing platforms and email creation software
- Familiarity with Google Nano Banana and text-to-image tools
