Mission-Driven CPG Startup
New York or New Jersey Area
Salary Range: $100,000 to $130,000 per year base, plus potential for annual performance-based bonus.
This is a terrific opportunity with a CPG startup focused on natural products that support brain health. This role operates on a hybrid-remote schedule and requires the candidate to be based in the New York City or New Jersey area.
The Sales Territory Manager will be responsible for managing distributor relationships and driving product sales within the New England and North Atlantic regions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead relationship building, sales, and distributor partnerships.
- Collaborate with sales brokers on business planning for natural and independent markets.
- Create and execute effective business strategies for key accounts and regional chains.
- Manage relationships at the distributor level.
- Identify and secure new accounts.
- Track metrics and reporting across various portals.
- Travel as needed within the region.
Qualifications
- Approximately 10 years of relevant CPG sales experience.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Category expertise in beverages, supplements, vitamins, and brain health products.
- Demonstrated track record of success managing key accounts and buyers in the natural space.
- Ability to grow revenue, close deals, and foster long-term relationships.
- Technologically savvy.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and able to work in a fast-paced growth environment.
