Position Details

• Location: 100% Remote (Continental United States)
• Position Type: In-house Bright Vision Technologies SOW engagement
• Experience: 8+ years
• Employment Type: Full-time, direct W2 (no C2C, no 1099, no third-party)
• Salary Range: $100k to $150k per annum
• Visa Policy: No new H1B sponsorship available. H1B transfers welcomed for qualified candidates.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to design and govern cloud-native solutions across compute, networking, data, identity, and security domains on a major cloud platform. The role partners closely with business stakeholders, security architects, and engineering teams to translate strategic objectives into pragmatic, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures aligned with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cloud solutions covering compute, networking, storage, identity, data, and observability layers.
• Lead solution architecture reviews and approval processes for major cloud initiatives.
• Define cloud landing zone, account structure, and tagging strategies.
• Establish reference architectures, blueprints, and reusable patterns.
• Architect security, identity, and compliance controls.
• Design networking topologies including VPC/VNet design, transit hubs, and hybrid connectivity.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and re-platforming initiatives.
• Drive cost optimization, capacity planning, and FinOps practices.
• Produce architecture artifacts including context diagrams, sequence diagrams, and decision records.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture.
• Deep expertise designing cloud-native solutions on at least one major cloud platform.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security primitives.
• Experience with cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation.
• Strong understanding of containerization, serverless, and managed data services.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Cloud architecture certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Preferred Qualifications

• Multiple cloud architecture certifications.
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Exposure to regulated industries.
• Experience driving FinOps and cost transparency initiatives.
