Role Overview

  • Location: 100% Remote (Continental United States)
  • Position Type: Full-time, direct W2 with Bright Vision Technologies (No C2C, 1099, or third-party)
  • Experience: 6+ years
  • Salary: 100k - 150k
  • Sponsorship: No new H1B sponsorship. H1B transfers welcomed for qualified candidates.
  • Engagement: Long-term, multi-year, aligned to the Bright Vision SOW delivery roadmap

Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished DevOps Engineer to architect, build, automate, and maintain enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure, CI/CD platforms, and deployment pipelines. You will be responsible for the complete infrastructure lifecycle, from translating requirements into secure, scalable cloud architectures to implementing infrastructure as code, automating deployments, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and refine scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Author secure, reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Manage containerized platforms using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Implement centralized monitoring, logging, and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.).
  • Automate operational tasks using Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Contribute to DevSecOps initiatives, including security scanning and compliance.
  • Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure reliable software delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in enterprise DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD.
  • Advanced knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proven experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • Strong Linux administration, Docker, and Kubernetes expertise.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell) and configuration management.
  • Solid understanding of Git, branching strategies, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with event-driven architectures, serverless, and service mesh.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps, security automation, and compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.).
  • Exposure to SRE practices, chaos engineering, and blue-green deployments.
