Business Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and deliver data-driven insights to support strategic decisions. This role is open to candidates currently on H1B visa in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements
• Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement
• Create functional specifications, BRDs, FRDs, and user stories
• Work with cross-functional teams including IT, product, and operations
• Perform data analysis using tools like Excel, SQL, or BI tools
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure successful implementation
• Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs for business performance tracking
• Communicate insights and recommendations to leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Finance, or related field
• 3--8 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Must be currently in the US on H1B visa (transfer candidates preferred)
• Strong experience in requirement gathering and documentation
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau / Power BI)
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence
• Domain experience in Finance, Healthcare, or Retail
• Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA
• Experience working in fully remote/distributed teams
