Job Overview

Stello Products, Inc., a leading sign manufacturer since 1959, is seeking a meticulous and organised Virtual Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a Full-Time remote position, ideal for a self-motivated professional dedicated to maintaining the financial integrity of our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. This role is crucial to the smooth operation of our organisation as we continue our commitment to quality and service in the signage industry.

  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Location: Remote (Cincinnati, Ohio, United States)
  • Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 USD per hour

Responsibilities

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain key financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
  • Process company payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain the general ledger and all financial records in an organised and accessible manner.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax forms and support year-end financial closing.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A relevant qualification or degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred.
