Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Product Manager to join our team. This is a remote position, open to candidates located in the USA. You will play a crucial role in leading feature development within our benefits administration platform, translating strategic vision into actionable product plans and collaborating closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Feature Ownership: Take full ownership of defined features or workflows from the initial discovery phase through launch and post-launch analysis.
- Product Documentation: Craft clear and concise problem statements, user stories, acceptance criteria, success metrics, and release notes.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with engineering and design teams to assess solution options, identify edge cases, manage dependencies, and plan sequencing.
- Prioritization: Leverage customer feedback, analytics, support data, implementation insights, and operational metrics to refine product priorities.
- Launch Planning: Develop comprehensive launch readiness plans, including support requirements, internal communications, training materials, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Post-Launch Monitoring: Track adoption, quality, and operational outcomes after launch, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Roadmap & Backlog Management: Maintain clear roadmap and backlog hygiene for your assigned areas, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Domain Expertise: Develop a strong understanding of Businessolver's benefits administration domain, client delivery processes, and compliance requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, design, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1+ years of experience in product management or a closely related role (e.g., business analysis, operations, implementation, UX, engineering, client services).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to create clear and effective product documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and ensure commitments are met.
- Proficiency in using customer feedback, metrics, and operational data to make informed trade-offs.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and product development workflows.
- Experience in SaaS, HR technology, benefits administration, healthcare-adjacent technology, or other regulated industries is a plus.
- Experience supporting participant or administrator workflows, client implementations, or service operations is advantageous.
- Proficiency with common product management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, analytics platforms, design tools).
