Role Overview

We are seeking an entrepreneurial Principal Product Manager who will own the cloud-based experience layer of the Butterfly platform, spanning administrator workflows, clinical workflows, and education products. You will drive strategy and execution across these areas to deliver a best-in-class experience for health system administrators, program managers, and clinicians using Butterfly's cloud platform.

This role reports to the head of POCUS Product group and works closely with the Core Platform and Clinical Experience Product Managers, clinical stakeholders, and engineering teams to define requirements, ship features, and continuously improve the cloud experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape how health systems deploy, manage, measure, and scale programs through modern, intuitive software experiences across administration, documentation, quality assurance, analytics, education, and workflow automation.
  • Work at the intersection of enterprise SaaS, clinical workflow, AI-enabled automation, and product experience design.
  • Translate complex health system needs into simple, elegant, high-impact products that help administrators, program leaders, and clinicians use Butterfly more effectively.
  • Partner closely with Core Platform, Clinical Experience, Design, Engineering, Clinical Affairs, Customer Success, and Commercial teams to define strategy, ship products, and drive adoption across enterprise customers.
  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for administrator experience and clinical workflows on the Butterfly cloud platform.
  • Drive product development for administrator-facing features like Proficiency Management, Analytics, Program Performance, User Management and Access Roles, Fleet Management, and the Butterfly Academy & Education Dashboard.
  • Lead cloud-based clinical workflow products such as Documentation (Worksheets, Tags, Exam Types) and Quality Assurance tools.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation, and agentic workflows to reduce manual work, improve documentation quality, surface insights, and help administrators and clinicians complete complex tasks more efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the Core Platform Product Manager on monthly cloud release documentation, feature enablement, and entitlement management.
  • Integrate customer feedback, research, and data analysis into product decisions and roadmap prioritization.
  • Develop deep expertise in health system administrator and clinician workflows to identify unmet needs.
  • Support pre- and post-launch execution including go-to-market coordination, documentation, and adoption tracking.
  • Set a high bar for product craft, usability, and workflow simplicity in a domain that is often burdened by legacy healthcare software.

Benefits

  • 100% coverage for medical, dental, and vision (flexible buy-up plans with employee contributions)
  • Life insurance and disability coverage for you and your family
  • HSA for out-of-pocket expenses, plus other pre-tax savings like the Dependent Care Account (DCA)
  • Pre-tax or post-tax 401(k) contributions (company match vests immediately)
  • Employee stock purchase plan
  • Recognition program and other rewards
  • Flexible (reasonable) PTO, along with 10 US holidays observed each year
  • Birthday PTO
  • Hybrid work model for most positions
  • Offices designed for collaboration, with comfortable workspaces, stocked kitchens, and opportunities to connect with peers
  • Opportunity to build a revolutionary healthcare product and save millions of lives!
  • Parental leave and support for employees during pregnancy loss
