Distinguished Engineer - Agentic AI

Requirements

Must have:

- We require a bachelors degree. - We require at least 7 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture. - We require at least 7 years of experience in enterprise architecture and design patterns. - We require at least 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS. - A masters degree in computer science or a related discipline is preferred. - We prefer 2 years of experience working with applied and agentic AI systems. - We prefer strong communication skills with the ability to translate agentic AI concepts into business value. - We prefer 10 years of experience in cloud computing across platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. - We prefer 10 years of coding experience in at least one of these languages: Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Swift. - We prefer 10 years of professional experience across the full software development lifecycle, from concept and architecture through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.

Responsibilities:

• We rapidly prototype and evaluate new technologies that support hyper-personalized marketing and assistive field sales systems. - We partner with and influence our enterprise and card technology organizations to build leading agentic marketing and sales solutions. - We establish and promote technical charters that accelerate AI adoption across the organization. - We bridge current platforms with future-state capabilities while keeping existing systems healthy and business-ready. - We remove blockers for developers across the organization, using sound judgment to choose technical, process, or risk-based approaches. - We serve as an authoritative expert on non-functional qualities such as performance, scalability, and operability. - We keep learning and sharing advanced technical knowledge within our community. - We mentor and coach our technical and product community, strengthening engineering depth and capability. - We provide architectural direction and designs for large cross-domain programs. - We work with engineering teams to design and execute proofs of concept and contribute hands-on code reviews or implementation when needed.
