Senior Software Engineer - AML

Requirements

Must have:

• Bachelors Degree
• Minimum of 9 years in Software Engineering and solution architecture
• Minimum of 9 years in Cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
• Minimum of 9 years in Data architecture

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Over 10 years in Software Engineering and solution architecture
• At least 3 years of experience in developing tools for Anti-Money Laundering, Know Your Customer, Financial Crime, or Fraud detection domains
• Over 3 years of professional experience implementing AI/ML strategies for anomaly detection in a regulatory environment requiring high explainability
• Over 3 years of professional experience in Product Observability

Responsibilities:

• Break down complex challenges into practical, actionable solutions
• Ensure the integrity of technical design and execution
• Act as a recognized authority on non-functional system attributes, including observability, resiliency, and operational excellence
• Continuously acquire and share advanced technical insights within our community
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, optimizing your time to enhance impact
• Serve as a mentor and role model within the technology community, fostering the growth of technical skills among our engineering and product teams
• Understand stakeholder businesses and devise innovative technical solutions to meet their goals
• Build full-stack applications with a product-oriented approach, balancing simplicity and adaptability
• Leverage AWS cloud infrastructure across the entire stack (from IaaS to PaaS)
• Implement modern engineering operation practices such as observability, SLOs, Continuous Deployment, and Incident Management that embody a you build it, you run it philosophy
• Use frameworks like Spark, Flink, Kafka, and Dagster for large-scale data architecture and processing
• Create high-quality technical documentation to align teams and influence stakeholders
