About the Role
Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Growth Lead - Gambling. This is a fully remote role for US-based candidates.
Salary Range: $120-180K USD yearly plus equity.
We're looking for a Founding Growth Lead with a strong iGaming, sportsbook, or crypto-casino background to own acquisition, retention, lifecycle, and referrals end-to-end. You should have a deep understanding of referral program structures, retention loops, and the challenges of prediction markets.
The ideal candidate is fast, opinionated, highly autonomous, and product-minded. We leverage AI for execution but expect leaders to drive strategy and judgment.
What You'll Do
- Own growth end-to-end: acquisition, activation, retention, referral, reactivation, and reactivation-after-that.
- Build the lifecycle program from scratch, including missions, leaderboards, deposit and wager-based progression, VIP, and win-back strategies.
- Manage promo and bonus mechanics with a solid understanding of economics, abuse vectors, and offer arbitrage.
- Design and run the referral program: structure, recruit, attribute, and optimize performance.
- Own the growth dashboard, tracking key metrics like events, cohorts, retention curves, LTV, CAC, and payback.
- Run a high cadence of experiments with fast feedback loops.
- Collaborate directly with founders on positioning, growth-driving product surfaces, and the intersection of marketing and product.
What We're Looking For
- Direct iGaming, sportsbook, casino, or prediction-market experience on the operator side.
- Proven track record designing and running referral programs in crypto, gambling, or both.
- Strong lifecycle and CRM skills, including designing sequences, missions, bonus drops, retention loops, and reactivation campaigns.
- Comfort with raw event data and pulling your own cohorts.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to ghostwrite effectively.
- High output, fast feedback loops, and a willingness to iterate quickly without ego.
- Comfort working in a small, async-first, docs-heavy startup environment.
Bonus Points
- Direct experience at a crypto-native wagering product.
- Existing referral and operator relationships in crypto or gambling.
- Solana ecosystem fluency and existing relationships.
- Comfort with on-chain attribution and wallet-level analytics.
