Role Overview

Career Renew is recruiting for a Product Designer - Fintech. This is a hybrid role based in Jersey City with a salary range of $110k–$150k USD plus benefits.

About the Mission

Our mission is to transform how money moves. We believe stablecoins will underpin a new financial fabric that is faster, more global, and more efficient. We are building AUSD and the stack, a full-service platform that makes issuing, managing, and integrating stablecoins seamless for developers, fintechs, and institutions.

We believe digital dollars should be a public good: trusted, accessible, and built for real-world utility. We are backed by world-class investors including Paradigm and Dragonfly.

About the Team

We bring the discipline of high-performance finance teams and the creativity of a fast-moving crypto-native startup. We are a small, mission-driven group that values clear thinking, extreme ownership, and high-velocity decision-making.

About the Role

You will partner with our lead designer on a small team that owns both product and brand surfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Product Design: Own customer-facing elements including dashboards, onboarding flows, account management, and developer surfaces. Manage the end-to-end process from problem framing and research to high-fidelity design and handoff.
  • Brand Design: Shape our presence through landing pages, campaign assets, sales decks, and brand work.
  • Collaboration: Partner with PMs, engineers, and founders to scope features, define success, and iterate.
  • Systems: Help evolve the design system to ensure coherence as we scale.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience designing products at a software company. Portfolio must demonstrate end-to-end ownership of complex flows.
  • Experience in B2B, fintech, or other regulated/data-dense domains (infra, devtools, healthcare).
  • Strong information design instincts; ability to make technical interfaces feel intuitive.
  • Versatility across surfaces, from technical product UI to expressive brand and marketing.
  • Fluent in Figma (components, variants, auto-layout, prototyping) and comfortable extending design systems.
  • Proficiency using AI tools (e.g., Claude, Figma AI) in your workflow for research, copy, and prototyping.
  • Proven track record of shipping with engineers and iterating post-launch.
  • Ability to conduct your own research: recruiting, moderating, and synthesizing findings.
  • Strong focus on copy as a core design element.
  • Low ego, high iteration speed, and a collaborative mindset.
