Who We're Looking For
CareerPlug is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager who can both shape and execute, someone who brings strategic thinking to positioning and go-to-market decisions, then builds the content and assets that make those decisions real.
Franchising is a relationship business, and CareerPlug serves a specialized audience of franchisors and franchisees who choose their tools carefully. We have established positioning, a defined GTM framework, and a growing product that needs someone who can own the go-to-market for what we ship, from strategy through execution.

- New feature launch, adoption, and engagement
- New account and location activations
- Website engagement and conversion
- Strength and currency of competitive intelligence
- Quality and cadence of customer stories in market
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and execute a go-to-market strategy: Own GTM strategy for product launches, define the narrative, segment the audience, and coordinate cross-functional readiness.
- Translate positioning into feature-level messaging: Operationalize brand positioning at the feature, integration, and product update levels.
- Own competitive intelligence and market research: Actively track the competitive landscape and synthesize market signals into clear positioning.
- Write product content: Author GTM blog posts, web page copy, and customer-facing emails.
- Build a consistent customer story practice: Capture and turn customer experiences into case studies and stories.
- Own product-related sales enablement: Ensure sales teams have the tools and talk tracks needed to succeed.
- Maintain our demo environment: Keep the demo environment current, clean, and ready for sales calls and webinars.
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing with demonstrated ownership of GTM strategy and execution.
- Strong writer with a portfolio demonstrating clear, audience-aware product writing.
- Experience owning competitive intelligence and activating it in positioning decisions.
- Ability to independently pull and interpret marketing and product performance data.
- Comfort working in modern marketing and design tooling (e.g., Asana, HubSpot, Figma, Loom, Canva).
Preferred
- Familiarity with the franchise industry.
- Experience marketing to two-sided or multi-stakeholder audiences.
- Background in or exposure to HR tech, workforce management, or recruiting software.

Compensation
This role pays a $135,000 base salary with an additional annual bonus potential of $10,000 (paid quarterly), for a total on-target earnings of $145,000.
