Job Summary
CareSource, a healthcare company dedicated to providing access to care, is seeking a skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer III for a remote position open to candidates in the USA. This role involves evaluating and supporting complex IAM issues, leading the implementation of SailPoint technology, and mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and support complex IAM and technology issues, identifying opportunities for internal control improvement.
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain SailPoint IdentityNow.
- Lead the implementation of new SailPoint Connectors and other SailPoint enhancements.
- Collaborate with business teams and subject matter experts to define and document IAM-related business needs, including access requirements and profiles.
- Serve as the technical lead for IAM technology implementations and enhancements.
- Contribute to the development of the IAM roadmap (1-2 years) and provide technical leadership in strategic design.
- Mentor junior staff members.
- Scope and design provisioning and recertification business processes and workflows.
- Monitor IAM services, applications, and systems, resolving or escalating issues as needed.
- Provide coverage and support for the IAM service, acting as a technical resource.
- Operate effectively in a distributed team environment, communicating virtually with team members across various locations.
- Produce and provide required metrics and reporting.
- Recommend and/or coordinate the application of critical security fixes, patches, and updates.
- Research emerging IAM technologies to support enhancement and development efforts.
- Perform project leadership tasks for select security and IT projects requiring security integration.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a business, technology, or computer science related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of IT experience with a focus on Identity and Access Management.
- Three to five (3-5) years of experience deploying, developing, or configuring SailPoint IdentityNow or IdentityIQ, with at least one year specifically in IdentityNow.
- Experience administering Active Directory, EntraID, and SailPoint IdentityNow.
- Experience with other IAM-related technologies (e.g., Okta, PAM).
- Solid understanding and demonstrated experience with Identity and Access Management Methodologies.
- Experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining SailPoint IdentityNow.
- Experience supporting a computing community of at least 1,000 users.
- Proficiency with JSON, JavaScript, PowerShell scripting, Postman, reading/writing SQL queries, and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Customer service orientation.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to apply IT solutions to security problems.
- Familiarity with application, server, and network security is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and ServiceNow ticketing is preferred.
- SailPoint certification (IdentityNow Professional, Engineer, or Developer) or other IAM-related certification is strongly preferred.
