Job description

About the Role

We are looking for a visionary Principal Product Manager to architect the future of how we interact with our users. You will lead the strategy and scaling of our foundational Personalization Framework, transforming Cedar Pay into an intelligent and predictive experience.

This is a high-impact platform role, acting as a force-multiplier for the internal squads who build atop your platform.

Responsibilities

Scale and Optimize the Personalization Engine

Evolve our existing ML capabilities into a world-class system that leverages deep learning to deliver the right message, payment option, or insight at the precise moment of need, reducing friction in the patient financial journey.

Own the Intelligence Strategy

Define the multi-year roadmap for Cedar Pay's AI vision to create AI-driven patient journeys that anticipate needs by leveraging Cedar's proprietary data to "meet patients where they are" with empathy and precision.

Enable Product Squads

Act as the internal champion for consuming teams. Define clear APIs, integration mechanisms, and documentation to ensure the platform's value is seamlessly unlocked across the organization.

Guide Front-End Experience

Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams responsible for the UI to ensure effective consumption of the platform's intelligence.

Drive Rigorous Experimentation

Lead a culture of hypothesis-driven development, using large-scale A/B testing to validate how ML interventions impact financial behavior and user satisfaction.

Connect Strategy to ROI

Align the AI roadmap with Cedar's core business outcomes, ensuring that investments in personalization translate into measurable improvements in patient satisfaction and collection efficiency.

Benefits

  • Multiple health / dental / vision insurance options to fit your needs
  • Generous compensation package, including equity and 401k program matching 100% of your contributions, up to 3% of your annual compensation
  • Unlimited PTO for vacation, sick and mental health days--we encourage everyone to take at least 20 days of vacation per year to ensure dedicated time to spend with loved ones, explore, rest and recharge
  • We provide up to $10,000 in reimbursement through Carrot Fertility to support comprehensive, inclusive care for family-forming and reproductive health journeys
  • 16 weeks of parental leave for all expecting parents
  • Remote-friendly team events
  • Location flexibility: you can work from home, in our NYC headquarters, or any combination of the two
  • Constant learning and development opportunities
  • Resources for mental and physical wellbeing
